When the first Sonic Frontiers gameplay demo dropped, we saw familiar elements in a new open-world setting. Some of those are even more familiar than we already thought, apparently. New off-screen footage from the Summer Game Fest reveals what appears to be the old Sky Sanctuary Zone in the new Sonic game. Sonic fan @Saihati72 shared the clip on Twitter (the footage itself is taken from episode 18 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast)....

At the beginning of this year, Instagram introduced Subscriptions as a test for creators to earn money. Over the past few months, we have seen reports detailing the drastic measures Apple will take to differentiate between the Pro and non-Pro iPhone models this year. The biggest differentiator between the two lineups is expected to the fact that the same Apple A15 Bionic chip from last year will power this year’s non-Pro iPhone 14 models. The next-gen inexpensive iPhone SE 4 might be completely scrapped off if recent information by Ming-Chi Kuo is to be believed. Rumors regarding the cancelation have been making the rounds since December 2022 and now it seems like this might actually be the case. The phone was expected to launch either this year or in 2024. A five-minute deleted scene from The Batman featuring the Joker (Barr Keoghan) has been released, revealing the character’s entire face. This is one of the most disfigured and creepy-looking Jokers we have ever seen, bringing to mind the distorted and scarred face of Jeremiah Valeska from the Gotham finale. The recently announced mobile game in the Kingdom Hearts series has finally been given an official title: Dark Road. The game was announced last week, but the name was withheld, with Square Enix giving fans content to try and guess the title. That’s it for what we know about the game, officially, but it is safe to say, given the project name and brief glimpses we have seen, the game will have something to do with young Xehanort, possibly as he is training with Master Eraqus to become Keyblade Masters....

We’re just a week away from Sonic Frontiers’ arrival as of the time of this writing, and the latest trailer is once again teasing us about what’s to come. This time, we’ve got an animated prologue that explains what’s been going on with Knuckles the Echidna prior to the events of the game — and why we’re seemingly going to have to rescue him. Hoenn Pokémon have been slowly migrating to Pokémon GO since October of last year, including the appearance of the legendary Groudon as of almost a month ago. Now, the second of Generation III’s legendary Pokémon, the Water-Type Kyogre, is appearing in the game. As of today (January 12), Kyogre, the cover legendary of Pokémon: Sapphire Version, will be available to battle and catch in Raid Battles in Pokémon GO. Kyogre will only be available for a pretty small timeframe, however, as the official post on the Pokémon website states that the legendary will only be in the game from now until 1:00pm PST on February 14, giving players about a month to catch it....

Goldeneye 007 is one of the few beloved Nintendo 64 games locked to original hardware outside of emulation. Whereas many classics such as Turok and Perfect Dark have been officially remastered, Goldeneye 007 never received such a treatment. Recent leaks suggest a modern port is in the works, however. A full achievements list for Goldeneye 007 has been spotted on TrueAchievements and ExoPhase. Both websites are community-driven, tracking how many registered players have played or completed games on the respective sites’ data bases....
