This year’s 48th issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine confirmed that Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga is ending in November. The manga will end in the magazine’s next issue and will be on the magazine’s front cover in November. The magazine will also include a 12-page booklet to commemorate the series’ completion. Kaguya-sama: Love is War entered its final arc in October 2021. Akasaka first began the series in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015....

NIS America has announced that previously Japan-only Kamiwaza is heading west after its initial release in 2006. The HD remaster of the Acquire-developed PS2 stealth-action game is releasing in the west this fall as Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief. When it launches, it’ll come to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (on Steam). Thanks to Gematsu, we know that the HD remaster features upgraded visuals, auto-save functionality, adjustments to its tutorial stages, and retains the original’s blend of action and stealth gameplay with multiple branching storylines based on your actions....

Square-Enix, makers of the long-running Final Fantasy series, announced details today on the Third Anniversary Celebration for Final Fantasy: Brave Exivius. The celebration will reward players with various bonuses, including an appearance by pop music star Katy Perry. The announcement came via a press release. For the uninitiated, Final Fantasy: Brave Exivius is a mobile game of the Gatcha variety. In the game, players collect Final Fantasy characters, both original to the game and classic, and put them in an automated battle against various dungeon monsters and bosses....

American comic and Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson, who happens to be the 2022 Emmys host, takes a jab at Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating history. Following his dance-themed opening monologue, the comic host tried a few highly strung jokes but managed to stay out of controversy. The joke featured Zendaya Coleman while stylishly bashing DiCaprio, who recently broke up with his 25-year-old girlfriend. Kenan Thompson started off DiCaprio’s jab by pointing out Zendaya’s age....

Apparently, not all press is good press. King, makers of Candy Crush Saga, has been in the news a lot lately. Mostly for their appalling aggressive protection of a trademark for the word Candy. Yesterday, the games maker filed for an express abandonment of the “Candy” Trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. King’s abandonment of the trademark will open the doors for developers to make games with the word “Candy” in the title, or games about Candy....

Kingdom Hearts IV was officially announced a few months ago, and fans have been wondering exactly what the next mainline game will offer — especially in terms of characters. Kingdom Hearts III didn’t include many Final Fantasy cameos, especially when compared to previous games. In Guardians of the Galaxy, there are two ways to access photo mode. The game makes the first way easy, while the second way isn’t explained to the player. Hunt: Showdown is something of a sleeper hit among many.
