According to a report from Variety, Jake Gyllenhaal will produce and star in a movie adaptation of Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici’s comic book series, Oblivion Song. New Republic Pictures and Gyllenhaal’s production company, Nine Stories, will produce the movie adaptation. Nine Stories currently holds a first-look deal with New Republic. This gave them first dibs on producing the movie. Joining them as producers for Oblivion Song are Riva Marker and Robert Kirkman through his company Skybound Entertainment....
