Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Konami has announced a series of video game collections that contain some of their most classic games. On the official Konami website, the company has revealed three collections that will be available digitally for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and Steam. The three collections are called the Arcade Classics, Castlevania, and Contra Anniversary Collections. Each collection will have eight games each. The Arcade Classics contains old-school games that were release on arcades and gaming consoles from the 1980s....

The Metal Gear publisher held an auction on January 12th where they auctioned off “14 NFTs featuring gameplay footage, pixel art, key art, and background music from the Castlevania series.” The auction went very well, with each of the 14 pieces sold for an average of $12,000 while the two most expensive ones sold for $26,538 and 17,518, respectively....
