Evolution Studios and Sony just can’t seem to win over the last week with all of the trouble and controversy since the release of Driveclub last Tuesday. In that time, the Driveclub PS Plus Edition was delayed and online play was nearly impossible. Luckily, Evolution Studios made an update to the servers, which they say have improved the online gameplay by quite a bit.

Through the game’s official Facebook page, Evolution Studios posted the following update:

“After more successful upgrades and updates to the servers today, performance continues to improve and more of you will be able to play online together.

We’re still working, and will be around the clock, to keep improving social connectivity and online play, and we are pleased to say we have also added in friendly leaderboards now.

Hopefully this update will help to stabilize the servers and bring us one step closer to getting the PS Plus Edition of Driveclub as well. Have you been able to play online at all since the latest server upgrades and updates? Make sure to let us know below on if you noticed any improvements.
