The Marvel Cinematic Universe just keeps introducing more and more new characters and Ant-Man is the next one to make his debut in a little more than a week and a half. While we thought this movie would be more standalone, before joining the fold in next year’s Captain America: Civil War, but it looks like we may be getting a surprise cameo after all.

With Ant-Man’s release approaching, we are getting tons of promos for the movie on our televisions and one that aired in another country has ruined what could have been a major surprise. As a result, the following info should not be read if you want to go into Ant-Man spoiler free.

Coming from JoBlo Movie Trailers’ YouTube page, which is one of the best hubs for trailers on YouTube, a new 30 second long TV spot has arrived from a foreign market. The actual audio from the movie itself is English, but the narration is Spanish.

At the 18 second mark of this trailer, we see a quick shot of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon. He first debuted in last year’s Captain America: The Winter Solider and then showed up with a small role in this year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron with him being part of Captain America’s team of New Avengers.

We have no idea why he is here and why he appears to be suited up, but with him being part of the Avengers now, he might be recruiting Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, to the team at the end.

Hopefully this isn’t part of the mid-credits or post-credits sequence, as it would be disappointing that a TV spot could ruin one of those. The fact that rumors were that he would show up before this makes me believe he may be in the actual movie itself, but we’ll have to wait and see on July 17. The actual TV commercial can be seen below:
