The Last of Us had most of us on the edge of our seats; the story had us weeping and screaming. And don’t worry, we won’t be spoiling it if for whatever reason you haven’t played it yet!

In a recent interview with PlayStation Magazine Halley Gross, the co-writer for The Last of Us Part 2, has hailed Naughty Dog for their ability to input creatively and helpfully to the characters, and to help her realize her vision:

Gross continued:

Seeing the writers working so closely with the development team is reassuring, it will hopefully mean that the story will be the best it can be, with multiple inputs and constant feedback. Naughty Dog confirmed they dropped multiplayer from The Last of Us Part 2 due to the scale of the single-player experience.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for The Last of Us Part 2 after it was delayed to May 29, 2020. With three editions, standard, collector’s, and the Ellie Edition. You can pick up the collector’s edition for $170, which includes an Ellie statue, lithograph art print, replica of Ellie’s bracelet, and a couple more things, including stickers. Meanwhile, the Ellie edition includes all the contents of the collector’s edition, with the added bonuses of a backpack (which is described as a replica of Ellie’s), an embroidered patch, and a vinyl record.
