Kristen Stewart will make her directorial debut with the film The Chronology Of Water. She will make the film adaptation under Scott Free Productions. Imogen Poots will star in it. Along with directing the film, Stewart and Andy Mingo are co-writing the script for The Chronology Of Water. It’s based on the memoir of the same name by Lidia Yuknavitch. The story revolves around a young woman, the written word, and swimming. It’s a story of a survivor and is an honest coming-of-age. Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss, under Scott Free, are producing the adaptation alongside Mingo. Rebecca Feuer, also with Scott Free, is an executive producer. Before this adaptation with Scott Free, Kristen Stewart worked with them for her short film directorial debut, Come Swim. It screened at both Cannes and Sundance. Stewart previously worked with the company as an actor in Jake Scott’s Welcome to the Rileys.
