Kadokawa announced on Saturday that the previously announced spinoff anime for Konosuba- God’s Blessing on this wonderful world! is, in fact, the third season. The company also announced that the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spinoff novel series is also getting an anime adaptation. As of now, we know that the series will follow a younger Megumin before she meets Kazuma, Aqua, and Darkness. This series will also be handled by those that run the original Konosuba anime.

A “Konosuba” Celebration: 3 Seasons, a Spinoff, and a Movie
The overall story is based on the light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima. Takaomi. Kanasaki and Yujiro Abe (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) will be taking over the executive helm with this series. At the same time, the original voice cast for the series will also return.

As of now, both seasons of Konosuba are on HBO Max and Crunchyroll. The series is available in English dub and the original Japanese with subtitles. As of now, there is no release date for Konosuba 3.
