At this point of our relationship, fellow Gamepur readers, you should know I’m a Hideo Kojima Game fanboy, so I’m constantly checking his personal social accounts in order to gather new information about what he’s doing lately.
Today it turns out I’m pretty in luck, as he shared a few pics of him together with some special… friends we should all care about since we’re fans of video games, and Death Stranding’s too.
So, Kojima added several photos to his Twitter account, among which one with Death Stranding’s protagonist Norman Reedus. As you can see, it is probably coming from a performance capture studio, so the two might be working again together to add some neat feature or acting to the PS4 exclusive.
From the looks of those, they could also be just hanging out and having some fun together, who knows, but that would be quite boring knowing who we’re talking about, right?
On top of that, anyway, Kojima was also spotted in a photo a few hours ago (five, at the time of writing) with his friend and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley. Interestingly, Keighley said the two were “planning” something.

Considering he’ll be the host of E3 Coliseum as it already happened last year, it is possible they’re “planning” to be together at the show, which is said to be coming shortly after Sony’s press conference.
Something is indeed cooking behind the closed door at Kojima Productions related to Death Stranding announcement for 2018, and I am making this statement because this is what Kojima said at the time of the release of second Death Stranding Trailer at TGA 2017 – “Will Further Surprise Everyone“.
And it has been officially confirmed by Kojima that there will be a new Death Stranding announcement in 2018.
Which, of course, is going to be the place where we see whatever Kojima is doing on Death Stranding, most probably the first time ever gameplay trailer from the title.
