EA has just announced a series of upgrades coming to current-generation consoles versions of Knockout City. The upgrades, which primarily include graphics and performance updates, will be available come November 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One owners. They have announced the Knockout City: Royale Rumble event, which will be released in addition to the update.

The PlayStation 5 version will now render a native 4K resoltion at 60FPS, or 1440p (upscaled to 4K) at 120FPS; the Xbox Series X will also run at a native 4K with 60FPS, or 1620p (upscaled to 4K) at 120FPS; and the Xbox Series S will run 1440p at 60FPS, or 1080p at 120FPS.

The graphical updates to the game are stated to feature enhanced lighting effects and greater illumination through particle lights, area lights, and ball lights, as well as higher fidelity textures to create a more realistic environment and “touchable” surfaces, which were only previously available on the PC and Xbox One X versions.

As stated previously, the Royale Rumble event will be coming to Knockout City as well, also to be released on November 2.

Knockout City: Royale Rumble will be a limited-time event that will feature a brand new game mode and area for players to duke it out in all-out, free-for-all style combat.

A section from the blog post reads:

This event as well as the aforementioned graphic and performance updates will be available to all console owners come November 2, and PlayStation Plus members will also be able to enjoy Knockout City as part of the monthly game lineup on that day.
