In a preview, website Geek.com claims to have received information about the length of Kingdom Hearts III, the much anticipated title from Square Enix that is slated to put an end to the Heartless saga.
Interestingly, the preview, which bases its information on a Square Enix rep’s statements, reports that the action RPG has a 80+ hours longevity when you count the main story and the secondary stuff, like the mini-games that have recently announced.
On top of that, the critical path is said to be around 40-50 hours in terms of content, which is around the usual length of the series and should be pretty satisfactory for long running fans of the franchise.
Among secondary content we can find “20 different old-school Tiger Toys/Game & Watch style 2D side scrolling games based on Mickey cartoons from the 1930s and 40s.”
Kingdom Hearts III is expected to drop on January 29, 2019, after so many years of anticipation. The title is apparently respecting all the canons and all the things we should expect from a product like this coming from Square Enix, and we had already been advised about how big it was going to be.
Does it look like it is, then?
