A recent Tweet from Spike TV’s Geoff Keighley confirmed that a Kinect-enabled Star Wars game is still on its way, and apparently it’ll be shown off at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference this year: “Yes, Star Wars for Kinect will officially be unveiled live during the Xbox 360 E3 briefing on Spike. Tune in on June 6 for more.”

We haven’t heard or seen much from this title since it’s announcement at last year’s E3, so it’ll be interesting to see how Microsoft plans on integrating the Kinect’s features with the world of Star Wars. As for us, we’re all for waving a virtual lightsaber aimlessly at a Kinect monitor…as long as there’s not a cell phone in sight that has recording capabilties.

We’ll keep you updated on this title and many, many more as we gear up for our E3 2011 coverage.
