The Keeping Up With The Kardashian alum was previously married to the rapper before their divorce. The duo was married for nearly seven years and welcomed four beautiful kids together.

When it comes to her kids, Kim puts them first, and in this case, it is no exception. Despite how her marriage with Kanye West turned out, she still wants him to play the role of a father in their kids’ lives.
A source told Us Weekly that even though Kim and Kanye are not on the best terms, she won’t deprive him of this dad role to their kids. The 45-year-old was married to the Heartless rapper for nearly seven years before she filed for divorce in February 2021.
Earlier this year, a judge declared the duo legally single but at the time. However, at the time, the couple didn’t finalize their separation. This only came after Thanksgiving. The publication later confirmed on the 29th of November 2022 that the former couple agreed on sharing joint legal and physical custody. This meant equal access to their four kids- North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, Psalm, 3.
According to a court document obtained by Us, Kanye will pay his ex-wife a sum of $200,000 monthly for child support. He is also responsible for 50 percent of the kid’s education fees and security expenses.

Earlier this year, Kanye ranted on social media about Kim’s parenting choices and plan to share a TikTok account with their oldest child. This prompted the Selfish author to slam the rapper via Instagram.
She wrote that his constant attacks on her on social media platforms and during interviews are more hurtful than any Tik Tok account their oldest child might create. The TV star stated that she was their kids’ primary caregiver and provider. Kim added that she was doing her best to protect their daughter while giving her a chance to express her creativity with adult supervision.
