Kim Kardashian shut down a paparazzo, who tried to question her about her ex in front of her kids. The paparazzo asked her about Kanye West’s battery incident, which the protective mom immediately shut down. Find out what happened below.
Kim Kardashian Shut Down Paparazzo
“Hey, Kim, what do you think of Kanye hitting someone … [sic] the paparazzi’s phone?” a photographer asked the KUWTK star about ex-husband Kanye West’s alleged battery incident in front of her kids on Friday.
“Do not talk to me about that in front of my kids,” The Kardashians star reproved the paparazzo in the video obtained by Page Six. In response, the photographer apologized to her.
At the same time, a child shouted, “Please leave!” It is unclear which of Kim’s children made the heartbreaking proclamation.
The socialite was at her daughter North’s basketball game that night, and her son Saint was also present. Kim immediately ushered her four kids into the SUV before saying goodbye to Tristan Thompson, who also attended the basketball game.
Kim’s response to the photographer who questioned her about the incident isn’t unusual. The business mogul previously shared that she keeps any negative news about Ye away from their four kids.
“In my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on in the outside world,” the SKIMS founder told Angie Martinez last December.
Kanye West Under Investigation For Battery Incident
A few hours before the basketball incident, TMZ reported that Kanye was named the suspect in a battery investigation. The rapper allegedly grabbed a woman’s phone out of her hand and threw it when she didn’t stop filming him.
From the incident’s video, the Donda rapper noticed someone following and recording him outside his daughter North’s basketball game.
Ye then got out of his car and confronted the woman while she recorded him with her dog on her lap. “You didn’t have to run up on me like that,” he told the woman as she held her cell phone in his face. “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!”
The Yeezy founder appeared to grab the woman’s phone and toss it on the ground as she sat in disbelief. Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene and were given video evidence of the incident. The woman whose phone was snatched was also spotted talking to police officers and leaving the sheriff’s department.
Kim Kardashian’s response to the paparazzo will set a standard for other paparazzi so they know not to do the same. Hopefully, other reporters will learn to respect her kids’ presence.
