The Jumanji series has met with major popularity in recent times, and its sentient board game has been gaining popularity. So why not add another installment? Kevin Hart, a star of the most recent iterations, promises another movie can still happen: Jumanji 4.

Jumanji 4 is Still Happening, Says Actor Kevin Hart

It’s been a hard two years. And it shouldn’t come as a surprise the brakes have halted on Jumanji 4. Despite multiple setbacks regarding production, actor Kevin Hart says that fans should not lose hope. Aside from restrictions regarding COVID-19, the actor is also hard-at-work on the Borderlands movie with co-star Jack Black. The other co-stars are also busy with other projects, pushing back any chance of a recent release date.

Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle introduced Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart as players characters, and while they were the faces of the ‘show,’ it was because a group of teens was transformed by the sentient board game. And it should come as no surprise that Jumanji 4 would star the same faces. It’s also likely to introduce a few new characters as well, considering some characters made cameo appearances inside the sentient board game.

Kevin Hart is profusely committed to another installment in the series. “I think when things slow down for us, and our commitments are out of the way, we’re definitely going to visit another one.” So for anyone wondering ‘will there be a Jumanji 4?’ The definitive answer is “eventually.” While it may not be what hardcore fans want to hear, the news is still positive.

Depending on the length of each actor’s project, we may not see the fourth installment for another three years. Hopefully, the actors can gather together in between work schedules for the fourth movie. While you wait, check out the second and third installments.
