Kathie Lee Gifford, a French-born American TV presenter, prefers to keep her love life private after her husband, Frank Gifford, died in 2015. After Frank’s death at the age of 84, Kathie decided not to talk about her love life publicly anymore.

The 1953-born director decided to base in Nashville after stepping away from the spotlight. She was a co-host with Regis Philbin in Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee. 

But now, she has more time to connect with her kids and expanding family.

In an interview with PEOPLE, the star opened up that she has found personal happiness in her current life, and that’s the best way she can describe it. Kathie Lee Gifford also talked about her love life and being happy to keep her relationship special.

The TODAY alum was also grateful for her kids, who have also found love. Kathie revealed that her kids are deeply in love with their partners since marriage, and nothing has changed.

While Kathie Lee Gifford talked about keeping her love life private, she was happy for her daughter, Cassidy, and son, Cody.

Cassidy, 29, got married to her childhood lover, Ben Wierda, in November last year. According to Kathie, the duo has been best of friends since they were 11 and 14. For Cody, 32, he’s married, and the star disclosed that they are right for each other.

The star is enjoying her time by describing her current reality as a beautiful season. Asides from love life and family, Kathie Lee Gifford has been engaged in some projects.

What Has Kathie Lee Been Up To

While love life is equally as important, Kathie Lee Gifford has noticeably celebrated her faith these days, even in her projects. She made her debut as a director in The God Who Sees. According to the director and author, it felt like that’s what she has been learning her whole life, and she’s here for it.

The next project is the release of her book, The God of the way, which she co-wrote with Rabbi Jason Sobel. The book will be released later this week alongside a new movie titled The Way, narrated by Gifford. 

It’s indeed a wonderful season for Kathie, who was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to the television industry. Her star is located at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard, only five stars away from that of her former co-host.
