“I would be lying if I said some [NBCUniversal] executives didn’t already throw that out across the table,” Kate said while talking about her planned sequel with Brandi.
During Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the Bravo star was upfront about her shelved project with Brandi Glanville. The Traitors star explained that it was in the works until she got pregnant.
The South Florida resident hinted that she and Brandi were gearing up for a show similar to Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake.

Kate also mentioned that she is considering whether to prepare for a little one on the road or pause the project for some time. However, she clarified that regardless, there should be some iteration featuring a Kate and Brandi reunion on camera at some point.
The University of Central Florida alum also pitched herself for a future season of RHUGT if the Traitors spinoff fell through.
Kate Chastain and Brandi Glanville Bonded While Filming The Traitors
Kate and Brandi quickly bonded while filming Season 1 of The Traitors at a remote castle in Scotland. The Galley Talk actress also calls her friendship with Brandi the greatest gift from doing the series.
She explained that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum texts her daily to catch up. Kate also joked that her texts would go viral as Brandi is funny. The media personality continued, claiming that her co-star is quite “intelligent and kind”
Meanwhile, the retired yachtie admitted that although a “Bravo fan” herself, she didn’t always like Brandi on the show. The latter was a main cast in the series from 2012 until 2015.
The TV personality confessed that she was embarrassed that she didn’t “get the glory that was Brandi Glanville.”
The 40-year-old further quipped about why #JusticeForBrandi isn’t more popular. This was in acknowledgment of the “villain” label placed on her friend during the early days of RHOBH.
Whether The Traitors spinoff takes off or not, it is good to know that Kate Chastain and Brandi Glanville are good friends. Hopefully, viewers will get to see the two in action again.
