Perhaps Deborah Ann Woll will be the next Daredevil star to have a comb or even join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the hit Marvel series, which originally premiered all three of its seasons on Netflix before its recent move to Disney+, Woll played the fan-favorite character, Karen Page. Deborah had also been in multiple episodes of Marvel’s The Punisher and mentioned in other Defenders shows. Woll’s co-stars have since started to invade the MCU with Charlie Cox appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Matt Murdock and with Vincent D’Onofrio making his return as Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye.

How Will Karen Page Return?

There have also been new rumors of Disney looking to develop a new Daredevil series for Disney+. In any case, the door is wide open for other characters from the Defenders Saga to cross over into the MCU, with or without a Daredevil revival. There’s no indication at this time that Woll will reprise her role as Karen Page, but in a new interview with Den of Geek, the actress makes it clear that she’s ready to sign on the dotted line the minute Marvel Studios gives her the call. Isn’t that exciting?

Whether the rumors of the Daredevil reboot happening are true remains unknown, but if the series gets resurrected, Woll could easily be back as our beloved character Karen Page. She was one of the key players of the original series, which also starred Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, among others. It’s unclear if characters from other Defenders Sage shows like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will also be brought into the fray.

When Daredevil originally streamed on Netflix, there were no major concerns about censorship, and the series fully embraced its R-rated aspects. Charlie Cox recently addressed the potential revival at Disney+ and theorized that a new season could be toned down to more of a PG style. It would be a difference that might take some getting used to for the longtime fans, but Cox still supports the idea of bringing the series back this way, given his confidence in Marvel Studios.
