Kanye West may have revealed his intention concerning the child custody issue between him and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. In a recent podcast, the rapper stated how he feels custody is going to work between him and his ex-wife. Ye further disclosed that he still helps Kim with issues relating to the kids. However, he admitted that she does most of the work. In his words:

“Even to this day, I’ll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that’s gonna go to the kids. She’s still got [them] 80% of the time — raise those children.”

Kanye West’s statement concerning child custody hints at the fact that he may be willing to ease things a little. The rapper hasn’t been in talks with his attorneys and it may be a sign that he’s giving in to Kim’s custody request.

Kim and Kanye’s Divorce

Kim filed for divorce 7 years after her marriage to Ye. However, sources state that it was an amicable resolution between the former couple. Following their divorce, Kim went ahead to ask for joint custody of their four kids.

Judging from Kanye West’s statement about the child custody case between him and Kim Kardashian, it seems he’s down with her request. Fans still wish to hear the actual reason for the couple’s split, but it wasn’t shared. People were only told that it wasn’t contentious or ugly. But it may not be completely true as Ye has been spotted on social media making vile posts against the Kardashians.

Kanye West Talks Child Custody After His 5th Lawyer Quit

Some months ago, after Kim and Ye‘s hearing in LA, his attorney in the person of Samantha Spector, asked to be relieved. Spector claimed that her relationship with Ye was beyond fixing. The reason for her quitting is still under the rug.

Following her resignation, the judge told Kanye West that if he remains silent, the child custody and property settlement case will go to trial in December.

The rapper has stayed silent with just some months to the deadline. Many believe that his recent disclosure about Kim being with the kids 80% of the time may be him reaching an agreement indirectly.
