On the October 6 episode of The Kardashians, reality star Kim Kardashian’s recent fashion choices were brought to question again after her ex-husband Kanye West sent her a disturbing text about her outfit. The message, which the beauty mogul read out during the episode featured a series of harsh words aimed at mocking some of the outfits Kim has opted for since her divorce from Kanye.
Notably, the twosome, who went their separate ways in 2021 after eight years of marriage have had a heated back-and-forth since their divorce. Form Kanye’s attempts to win back his ex while threatening her prospective partners, to his obsession with offering Kim fashion advice. During the episode, the Skims CEO seemed to have it to her neck upon receiving yet another fashion tip from her ex, albeit in a derogatory fashion.
Kim Kardashian’s Outfit Made Kanye Mad
Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians centered around Kim Kardashian’s trip to Milan in support of her younger sister Kendall Jenner, who graced her first-ever Prada Fashion Show in February. While deciding which outfit to don for the day alongside her fashion team, Kanye’s text popped up on Kim Kardashian’s phone.
The 41-year-old giggled after reading its content, before calling her team’s attention to the message, which referenced some paparazzi photos of Kim wearing outfits he deemed unfit. The reality star read aloud,
He also called out a specific look she rocked earlier this year, featuring an orange leather jumpsuit. Mocking the outfit, the Donda singer wrote:
Addressing the continuous attack on her fashion choices, Kim Kardashian revealed in a confessional that Kanye could not help himself when it came to dishing out fashion advice to her. Going further, the reality star admitted offering opinions on things they liked or didn’t like, and laughing about then, was their thing. She also disclosed that no matter how crazy things got between them, they would always remain a family, united by their four kids.
Kim’s Comeback At Kanye’s Mockery
Despite making it clear she held no grievances at Kanye for mocking her outfit, Kim Kardashian decided to pay him back in his own coin. She revealed:
This is not the first time Kanye West would express disapproval over Kim Kardashian’s outfit since their divorce. In the first season of The Kardashians, the 41-year-old experienced a similar dilemma. Then, the rapper slammed a brown leather dress from her Skims x Fendi collection, matching gloves, and snakeskin shoes she wore at the Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards in November.
Kim revealed how Kanye called her afterward to express his disapproval, and claim her career was over. To buttress his point, the hip-hop mogul sent a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar. Thankfully, his predictions about her career never came true, but the incident made viewers realize just how invested Kanye had become in Kim’s style, having served as her fashionista throughout their marriage.
