This announcement makes Kandi Burruss the longest-running Real Housewife from the entire RHOA franchise. The final reunion for season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs next Sunday, and this longest-running housewife, Kandi Burruss, confirmed that filming for the next season will begin “soon.”
For many people, the current season of RHOA was a start to getting the show back on track. Over the last few years, the show has lost notable cast members such as Porsha Williams, Nene Leakes, and Cynthia Bailey. Many fans had doubts about the show without these names, but the ratings have been steady, the season got better as it progressed, and if the rumors are true, Bravo asked the entire cast to return for season 15 due to the relative success.
This season also marked the first time Marlo Hampton, a long-time friend of the show, served as a main cast member.

In other Bravo news, The Real Housewives of Potomac returns on October 9th for its 7th season. The network released the trailer recently, but now we have confirmation of when we can expect to see the show on our screens. The show premiered back in 2016. While at first, many considered it to be the younger sibling of Real Housewives of Atlanta, it has since gained a pretty strong reputation on its own. The next season will star Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard, Robyn Dixon, Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton. All of them were main cast members in season 6.
Many fans will note that The Real Housewives Of Potomac has taken over the usual RHOA time slot. Real Housewives of Atlanta typically premieres in October, whereas it started earlier this summer instead for its most recent season.
