The official website and Twitter account for the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime announced a new season 4 for the franchise. The staff did not specify the format of the anime. However, they said more details will be revealed on Twitter at a later date. Following the final episode, the franchise announced a special “Kaguya Day” project. The project will run for 24 hours and highlight the cast, staff, and highlighting points of the series.

The previous two seasons of the anime were based on Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga series. The anime first premiered in January 2019 and April 2021. Aniplex of America streamed the first season on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow. The company also released the anime on Blu-ray Disc in February 2021. Funimation streamed the second anime as it aired in Japan and also dubbed both seasons.

Aniplex of America also hosted the U.S. premiere of Love is War season 3. This included an advanced screening on April 2nd at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles. New York also held a screening at the Japan Society. The final hour-long episode of Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 3 aired earlier on June 24th. The anime’s third season debuted on Tokyo MX, with Crunchyroll streaming as it aired in Japan. Its official start date in Japan was April 9th, 2022, and features the same cast and staff. Lastly, season three has a dub that can be found on Crunchyroll.
As of now, there is no release timeline for the new Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 4. Both seasons of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime series are available on Crunchyroll.
