DC Comics and Warner Bros. are taking the DC Cinematic Universe to a whole new level with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but that is far from all. Suicide Squad is also coming later in 2016, but 2017 is where things get even more intense with a solo Wonder Woman movie and Justice League Part One, and now we know just when they will start filming.

Wonder Woman, is slated to arrive on June 23, 2017, so it will be the next movie after Suicide Squad. As a result, it will obviously be filming relatively soon. Specifically, according to Empire it will start filming this fall.

Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Wonder Woman, after debuting in 2016’s Batman v Superman, alongside newly announced co-star Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. This is a movie that many have waited to see for a long time and it’s great to see the other part of the trinity finally getting her own movie.

Justice League Part 1 will be releasing later that year on November 10, 2017, which is definitely an interesting release date for a major blockbuster like this. Filming for that one will start in Spring 2016, which seems about right based on the schedule of Wonder Woman before it.

Justice League Part 2 will also be coming on June 14, 2019 and while it isn’t confirmed, it would be assumed that these two will film back to back based on their release schedule.
