Scott Kreamer, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous show-runner, confirmed recently that the show will feature more creatures than dinosaurs. While he doesn’t specify what creatures specifically, he does confirm that it will be more prehistoric animals.

He then goes on to explain in the interview to Collider,

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is the animated TV spinoff series to the Jurassic World franchise. It follows a group of kids on an adventure to a dinosaur summer camp who get trapped on Isla Nublar during the events of Jurrasic World.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Ties to Jurassic World: Dominion

However, it’s unknown if the Jurassic World: Dominion film will feature any non-dinosaur prehistoric creatures. However, director Colin Trevorrow also revealed that there will be a new variety of dinosaurs in the newest Jurassic World installment. Trevorrow also went on to say that Jurassic World: Dominion will give the T-Rex its own “superhero origin story.” He also goes on to say, “There are certain things that we are setting up here that you’re going to see a nod to in Dominion. In this movie, we really got to show some dinosaurs that I love. We’ve been holding on to them for a long time. Several of these are going to play major roles in the film itself.”

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 4 premieres December 3 on Netflix. At the same time, Jurassic World: Dominion premiers in theaters on June 10, 2022.
