Julie Chrisley And Jerry Harris Are In The Same Prison
The Cheer star started his sentence at the federal prison last August, while the Chrisley Knows Best star entered on Tuesday. However, Julie and Jerry will likely not meet each other or socialize. Reports indicate that prison officials keep male and female inmates in separate facility sections.
The Federal Medical Center is a minimum security satellite camp but not a medical center. The duo does not need any medical treatment as they are housed at FMC Lexington for medical and non-medical reasons.
Julie And Jerry In Prison For Fraud And Sexual Offense
The FBI arrested Jerry Harris in September 2020. He was charged with the production of child pornography, sexual exploitation of minors, and soliciting sex from minors. He was also charged with traveling with the intent to engage in sex with a minor.
In 2022, the disgraced Cheer star pleaded guilty to two of the counts leveled against him. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and eight years of probation after his release.
On the other hand, Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years for bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. The Chrisley Knows Best star will also be on probation for 16 months after her release.
Jerry’s attorney, Todd Pugh, told TMZ his client is “doing well for someone who is in prison.” He added that Jerry has “acclimated himself to custodial life and is participating in every type of self-betterment program available.”
Serving jail time is not pleasant, but it is worthwhile when convicted offenders learn their lessons and come out better.
