The host of Big Brother 24, Julie Chen, recently weighed in on Kyle Capener’s gameplay in the house, which has seen him join and betray several alliances. Her most disturbing story plot appeared to be the houseguest’s decision to save his romantic partner Alyssa Snider.

While it worked in Alyssa’s favor, the betrayal of his alliance spelled doom for the reality star in the long run. During an interview published on August 30, the show host went candid about her thoughts about Kyle’s moves and how they could affect his relationship with other houseguests and, ultimately, his stint on the show.

Julie Chen Bothered By Kyle Capener’s Betrayal

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Julie Chen aired her views, admitting something about the way Kyle Capener betrayed his closest confidants on Big Brother 24 bothered her. The TV personality added:

Did Kyle Trick Matt Into A Wrong Move?

Despite being critical of Kyle Capener’s gameplay, Julie Chen believed Matt Turner’s move against Joseph did not exactly pass for a betrayal. According to her, the houseguest simply did what he perceived as the best move to dissipate a perceived stronger duo to better secure his place in the house. Julie explained:

“Turner probably thinks he can beat Kyle and Alyssa at competitions, and even at winning the jury, than Monte and/or Joseph. It wasn’t a bad move on his part to advance his position in the game.”

However, that might have been a miscalculation on Joseph’s part, as Kyle seems more driven to stay in the game and determined to keep Alyssa on as well. Perhaps, this motivated his recent controversial conspirations in the house, even suggesting an all-white alliance, earning him backlash from viewers and co-houseguests.
