Actor Johnny Depp is in a celebratory mood and has every reason to be. The famous actor recently won his defamation case against his former wife, Amber Heard. Afterward, the jury awarded Johnny $10.4 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Johnny and Amber’s case dragged on for weeks. Thus, it is only fitting that the Pirates of the Caribbean star should unwind in its aftermath.

Johnny is doing just that and was recently spotted spending the night with his closest friends at an Indian restaurant in Birmingham, England. The star actor and his pals celebrated his defamation case win at a restaurant called Varanasi on Sunday night, June 5.

Johnny Depp Broke The Bank

Johnny and his friends enjoyed their night out at Varanasi. The restaurant’s Operations Director, Mohammed Hussain, told TMZ about Johnny’s expenses on the night, revealing the star actor spent about $60,000.

According to Mohammed, Jeff Beck and 20 other friends of Johnny joined him at the restaurant. The restaurant was shut down to the public to allow them to dine peacefully.

Johnny’s Attitude At The Restaurant

Mohammed also revealed how Johnny behaved while at the restaurant. He expressed shock that the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor chose to stop at his place. Mohammed further disclosed that Johnny was extremely humble, and they chatted for a while in his private office.

Johnny Depp’s Previous UK Headline Move

This is not the first time Johnny has been in the news for his exploits in the UK amid his defamation case against Amber. On Sunday, May 29, the actor made a surprise appearance at Jeff’s concert. His appearance at the show was noteworthy given that it came just a few days before the jury’s verdict in the defamation case.

The star actor joined his friend Beck on stage to perform their 2020 song collaboration, Isolation. Johnny and Jeff also performed other hit songs on the night as the actor savored his love for music.

Johnny Depp’s defamation case is now over, and he seemingly has his life back. One can only wonder if he will focus more on being a rock star, which was his dream when he came to Hollywood. Only time will tell.
