Johnny Bananas responds to the challenge by Tyson Apostol, The Challenge: USA contestant. Apostol took to social media to openly challenge the OGs of the show by saying that the OGs on the show can’t bench press him. He made the post in July this year but there was no response until recently.
In the post, he claimed that he could crush 90% of the OGs in the game.
An OG of the show, in the person of Johnny Bananas, responded to the challenge by Tyson Apostol this Tuesday. In a video interview by TMZ, the series star did what every senior in the game will do.
Johnny Bananas claimed that Tyson Apostol is a little too new to the series to challenge the OGs. He went on to state that he doesn’t think the Survivor alum is ready to mingle with the big boys.
Johnny Bananas Response To Tyson Apostol’s Challenge
Johnny Bananas’ reaction to the challenge was expected after Apostol called the face-off against the OGs a cakewalk. Banana started off his response by saying that he thought Wes Bergmann was the only guy with delusions of grandeur to grace the screen of The Challenge.
He sees Apostol in the light of Bergmann.
Bananas’ described the situation as Apostol being like JV but thinking that he could hang with professional athletes. He admitted that the newbie did relatively well in his debut for the show. But that doesn’t mean that Tyson Apostol should be yapping his mouth yet.
Now that the show is on CBS, the 1982-born star felt that the brand and franchise will get more exposure.
Bananas Has A Plan For The Challenge Show
After addressing the challenge by Tyson Apostol, Johnny Bananas went on to talk about the show. The star stated that if CBS wants to spice up the challenge game and stop airing the Walmart version, they’ll have to bring in a veteran.
Bananas opined that he’ll be their best candidate if they decide to explore that option. He has even taken further steps to reach out to them as regards. But he’s yet to get a response from them.
