After different speculations by fans, Joe and Melissa Gorga have finally opened up on why they missed Teresa Guidice’s wedding. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars were significantly absent at their fellow star’s lavish wedding to Luis Ruelas.

The pair, who are Teresa Guidice’s brother, and sister-in-law, missed out on Teresa’s wedding and have come out with an explanation for their actions.

What Did Joe and Melissa Gorga Say About Their Absence?

During a recent episode of her On Display Podcast, Melissa said she and her husband, Joe Gorga had a “laundry list of reasons” for not attending the wedding. This was in reference to an argument at the finale of filming for RHONJ’s upcoming 13th season.

Per E!, she couldn’t say the exact reason for the argument as those exact details she could not disclose as it had been filmed. Melissa stayed vague by adding that it would have been “very strange” to “be sitting in the pews [and] wishing them well on their wedding day” after the fight they had supposedly had.

Joe expressed how shocked he still was on the podcast concerning the hitch he had with his sister. He added, “I’m just shocked at the way I’m treated by my own family, my blood.” He continued by adding, “That’s what kills me. Every day, you have to live a life like that.”

It seemed to be that the reality show in itself was the cause of the contention between the siblings, as Joe continued to express himself by saying:

Though Teresa Guidice has not publicly addressed Joe and Melissa Gorga missing her wedding, a rumor sprung up on the internet about Teresa sending the Gorgas a bill for skipping her wedding. Her husband, Luis Ruelas, debunked this rumor, saying they would not do such a thing as they were not “petty.”

Teresa has yet to say anything publicly about the ongoing issue.
