For fans of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime, the last few months have been hard to stand. After an incredible amount of live stream hype last year, we received the beginning of part 6, Stone Ocean. Sadly, that was all we received. Netflix, which has streaming rights over this season, cut us short. Only 12 episodes were released to the public way back in December. Since then, fans have been hungry for news about JJBA and Stone Ocean part 2. The delay in episodes was all thanks to an unorthodox method of Japanese broadcast release. Fortunately, the wait may be over soon! Netflix has confirmed that news of Stone Ocean part 2 will be revealed at their Anime Japan event tomorrow. A minor trailer was released alongside episode 12’s broadcast release.

Jolyne and the Gang Have More to Do in Part 2

Though Netflix has been slow to release episodes of Stone Ocean, the story is far from over. Jolyne is still being introduced to her line of compatriots. And the fight against the main villain has just begun. In terms of overall manga content, it would be fair to say that the last episode ended at about the one-third mark. It is unclear whether part 2 will cover the remainder of the Stone Ocean story, or the JJBA team will release a third to wrap it all up.

Nevertheless, the desperate fight against the last of DIO’s legacy continues in part 2. Netflix is expected to reveal more information at their Anime Japan Festival tomorrow on their official YouTube channel. Netflix plans to give out a proper release timeline on Stone Ocean part 2 and other anime like Baki Hanma. The live stream will also feature appearances from Fairouz Ai and Mariya Ise, who play Jolyne and Foo Fighters. The next part of the thrilling Joestar destiny will be sure to impress fans worldwide.
