Mobile game Jetpack Joyride is collaborating with Metal Slug in a three-week explosive limited-time crossover. Get to play with the iconic Metal Slug characters Eri Kasamoto, Fio Germi, Marco Rossi, and Tarma Roving. In addition to its classic characters, the collab will also grant you access to Metal Slug‘s vehicles. These will include Slug Tank, Slug Gunner, Level Armor, Slug Flyer, Slugnoid, Slug Mariner, and Motorcycle Slug. This crossover is available starting today, and is available for download on both iOS and Android.
Japanese video game company, SNK, is collaborating with Halfbrick Studios‘ Jetpack Joyride for a limited-time event. It will have the iconic Metal Slug characters and vehicles in the game as in-app purchases for the fans to enjoy. Rewards for completing accomplishments such as Metal Slug-themed costumes are also up for grabs for players during this three-week crossover. Metal Slug is one of the most popular 2D action-shooting game released in 1996. It currently has 10 titles developed in the main series. The most recent one is Metal Slug XX, a revision of Metal Slug 7 made for PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2009. Currently, some of Metal Slug titles are now ported on mobile and is available for $2.99 for both iOS and Android. Metal Slug Attack is the company’s most recent mobile game available today but it is working on a new title Metal Slug Code: J that is coming later this year.
