After using the snowcat to get his neighbor’s and nephew’s cars out of the snow, the actor exited without the parking brake on, so the snowcat started to slide. The light indicator was not working, and “mechanical issues may have been a factor.” If the brake had been engaged, it would have likely avoided the situation.
Jeremy Renner was helped by his nephew before medical personnel arrived. He was airlifted to a hospital, where he stayed for multiple weeks. He received at least two surgeries and recovered in the intensive care unit. He confirmed on January 17 about being back at home as he recovers from his injuries.
