Jennifer Lopez is set to receive the Generation Award at the 2022 MTV Movie Awards. This means she is being celebrated for the entirety of her successful career. While most people may have one or two talents, J-Lo seems to have them all. From choreography to acting to singing, producing, and writing, she has been unstoppable. While some folks would be grateful to have a career for a decade, Lopez has had her for three decades strong.
Starting as a “fly girl” on the 90’s sketch comedy show, In Living Color, Lopez came out swinging. From her days doing choreography, she spun that into an acting career. Now you are starting to see why Jennifer Lopez gets the Generation Award at the 2022 MTV Movie Awards. She hasn’t stopped to take a breath in 30+ years.

Not being happy just acting and dancing, J-Lo turned to becoming a pop star. And, of course, she pulled it off and made it look easy. Having sold more than 75 million records, this award is a validation of a woman who is a force of nature. On top of that generation award, she is also up for best song for On My Way. Safe to say the 2022 MTV Movie Awards are going to be a fulfilling night for Lopez. And maybe now she will finally take a vacation and some time off.
Who are we kidding, we all know she won’t do that. She is the law of inertia personified. And it’s safe to say she plans to stick around for another 30 years in the spotlight, at least.
