Hearst and many other media groups have green-lit the series for more than 60 percent of the country. Jennifer Hudson is a Grammy and Oscar-winning singer and actor that will now be a talk show host of The Jennifer Hudson Show. This news comes soon after the announcement of Sherri, the spin-off daytime talk show from The Wendy Williams Show. The Warner Bros. daytime talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show will be ending soon after 19 seasons. Hudson’s life has nearly come full circle after starring in the third season of American Idol on Fox and now returning for her own show. She’s the second American Idol alum to host a talk show behind Kelly Clarkson.
