Jedi Fallen Order is finally getting its next-gen upgrade and it’s due this Summer! Seeing as how May 4 is quite close, Disney decided to surprise us with some news. In this Star Wars blog post, many things ranging all over the IP are detailed. One of them being the release date for the next-gen upgrade for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Heres’s what the post had to say:

Pretty exciting right? Well, if you’re a fan of this game – definitely. Maybe as a sign of celebration, the game is getting a 70% discount on its PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Origin, and Steam versions for both Standard and Deluxe editions. Keep in mind that this Gematsu report also hints at a native PlayStation 5 version of the game releasing at some point in the future. This is all due to the fact that the German USK games rating board already rated the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game. So that’s exciting?

We reviewed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order back in November 2019 and gave it a 5 out of a 5-star rating citing “Is Jedi Fallen Order perfect? No, but it’s close. The force is very strong with this one.” – although we didn’t have any major technical issues at the time, we suppose that with this new upgrade the game will be smoother, faster, and more stunning than ever.

In other news, Citizen Kane loses its perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes and, Game of Thrones prequel teases a noble house.
