Resident Evil Village voice actress Jeanette Maus has passed at the age of 39. According to Deadline, the news of her passing was first confirmed by her fiancé, Dusty Warren, on social media. Maus voiced multiple characters in the upcoming Resident Evil game including one of the daughters of the House of Dimitrescu. Last April, it was revealed that Maus was diagnosed with colon cancer. A GoFundMe campaign was set up by Warren to assist Maus with medical expenses. This campaign also stated that Maus had a history of Crohn’s disease.

On Facebook, Warren wrote:

Capcom also released a statement via Twitter, expressing that they were “deeply saddened” by her passing, expressing condolences to [Maus’] surviving family.”

Maus was a talented voice actress with acting credits in Charm City Kings, My Fiona, Dismissed, Your Sister’s Sister, as well as writing credits in My Effortless Brilliance. She also produced the short films Secret Island Adventure: Ripple One and Je Suis Ici.

The Resident Evil Village voice actress was ev an acting coach. The John Rosenfeld Studios school in West Hollywood, the school that she worked for, stated:
