Jean-Claude Van Damme’s final movie titled “What’s My Name?” claims it will bring his career on the screen full circle. The title of the movie comes from the premise. After speaking to Deadline, Van Damme said,
Pulling from Van Damme’s personal and cinematic life, the What’s My Name? movie will find the actor playing himself. The story follows him after being left in a severe coma from a serious car accident. Van Damme wakes up with amnesia, unrecognizable to everyone, including himself. Through a series of fights against other iconic fighters, Van Damme begins a quest for his own identity. All of this leads him to one final match that puts everything on the line.
Coming Full Circle: Van Damme’s Final Movie and Dipping Into the Past
In addition to this final action film from Jean-Claude Van Damme, another draw to the film will be the rematches between him and former on-screen opponents. Nothing is confirmed yet, but Deadline reports that this film will include past opponents like Dolph Lundgren, Michel Qissi, and Bolo Yeung.
