Aquaman has come to tackle fan rivalries. While on the red carpet for the third and final season of See, Jason Momoa talked to TheWrap about the competition between DC and Marvel. He had a positive take on how both are different and have their value.

Both franchises hold A-listers who have become the face of the genre. DC has Jason Momoa, Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and more. Meanwhile, it is a running joke about who isn’t in Marvel as it holds people like Samuel L. Jackson, Florence Pugh, Mark Ruffalo, and even Harry Styles. For the soon-to-be Fast & Furious actor, he looks to some of his favorites on the MCU side as his “brothers.”

Jason Momoa sees value in DC and Marvel

Jason Momoa is not leaving DC anytime soon. He made his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Aquaman. He got his standalone film by director James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring) in 2018, which made for the highest-grossing film in the DCEU with $1.1 billion globally, although Wonder Woman is the highest domestic box office film for the franchise with $412 million. The actor returned for Justice League and will make another return for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on March 17, 2023.

Details are scarce on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. We do know it will see Wan return at the helm. Jason Momoa will be reunited once again with Affleck, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, Randall Park (WandaVision), Temeura Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Matrix Resurrection). It will also star Jani Zhao (South), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), and Vincent Regan (The Bay).

Jason Momoa will also be seen in the final season of See on August 26. He will also be the villain of Fast X on May 19, 2023.
