A Japanese gaming analyst feels that the Nintendo NX will be revealed at E3 2016 with a scheduled release date for October or November.

As reported by Barron’s Asia, Nomura Securities analyst Junko Yamamura gave his expectations on when the Nintendo NX console will be revealed and released.

He feels Nintendo will just announce the concept of the console between the months of March and May. They will then reveal the full console in June presumably at E3 2016.

Yamamura feels the Nintendo NX console will launch in either October or November 2016. This will mean the console comes out just four years after the Wii U. A pretty fast turnaround for a new console to come out.

However, Yamamura has a different outlook to gaming analyst Michael Pachter. Pachter has gone on record saying the console will not be out until 2017. We’ll just have to wait and see which analyst is right on this topic.

One would think that Nintendo would want to release the NX as soon as possible. The Wii U is last in the console race and Nintendo needs something new to sway buyers from the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Do you feel the console will be out in 2016 or 2017?
