2020 hasn’t even ended and Sony has already announced January 2021 PS Plus free games line-up. For the next month, players with an active PS Plus subscription will have the chance to download three games:
- Maneater (PS5).
- Greedfall (PS4).
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4).
Each title will be available to grab from January 5, 2021, to February 5. Interestingly though, it seems PS Plus members in Spain will also be getting Dawn of Fear. The survival horror game tells the story of Alex, who has to uncover a mystery about his late stepmother in a dilapidated mansion. It was part of PlayStation Spain’s PlayStation Talents initiative, and with that in mind, it’s no wonder that PlayStation Spain is taking this opportunity to promote one of its projects.
Although visually speaking the game doesn’t look that good, classic Resident Evil fans might want to get their hands on it since it features inventory management, heavy on the puzzles, and a fixed camera angle. The game is available both on the PlayStation Store and Steam.
If you’re a fan of the new Lara Croft and missed out on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, you should get it next month. The game is by no means perfect but still ends the trilogy on a high note. We gave it four-out-of-five stars when we reviewed the original release. Meanwhile, Greedfall is a really ambitious game but unfortunately, it fell short on several aspects; notably, your choices and decisions barely have any lingering impact on the game world. Still, it’s worth a shot if you need that open-world RPG fix.
