Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is the latest entry in the Final Fantasy franchise, and the action RPG plans to create a unique experience for players by allowing multiplayer users to experience the story of Jack and his friends together.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is cross-platform, but only between console families, meaning that several players can participate in the online portion of Strangers of Paradise from separate consoles, as long as those console are PlayStation or Xbox consoles, respectively.
How many players can play Stranger of Paradise together?
Three friends can join up together to defeat Chaos in Stranger of Paradise. Users can take control of Jack, Jed, and Ash when playing through this Final Fantasy spinoff. Each character sports their special attacks, moves, and spells that they can command in the fight against Chaos. Square Enix highlighted this with a Twitter post earlier in March 2022.
What consoles can play together in Stranger of Paradise?
Those in the same console family can play together in Strager of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, meaning that Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players can party up, and PS4 can pair up with PS5 in the multiplayer menu. Xbox, PC, and PlayStation players cannot play Stranger of Paradise multiplayer outside their console family. PlayStation and Xbox users interested in using online functionality must have online subscriptions to play with friends. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin releases on March 18, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Game Store with Early Access available to those who pre-order starting on March 15, 2022.
