Find out if The Quarry will slice and dice it’s way onto the Nintendo Switch

If you’re a fan of classic horror films, campy slasher flicks, or anything involving a madman with a knife, The Quarry is right up your alley. You’ll find some familiar faces, mixed in with some that may be new to you, rendered in great detail that will allow you to see the looks of pure terror on their faces. If you happen to have your hands on the newest generation consoles, you’ll be treated to a visual spectacle with some of the highest quality character models around, with great facial tech making sure that every detail is captured in amazing quality.

However, if you’re looking to take your scares on the go, you may be wondering if the Nintendo Switch can handle something of this caliber, and the answer may be even scarier than the frights found in the game, itself. Let’s find out if The Quarry is going to be slashing onto the Switch, so you can hide under the covers without losing out on any valuable time.

The Quarry On Nintendo Switch – Will It Be Available?

Much like many of the titles that came before The Quarry, it doesn’t seem that this title will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch after all. With their previous title, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, game director Tom Heaton is quoted as saying:

The three platforms that they were referring to in regards to Man of Medan were the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and with The Quarry making the leap to the next generation of consoles, it seems as if the Switch will be left behind once again. With the graphical upgrades that The Quarry has seen over already beautiful entries such as Until Dawn and Man of Medan, this may not seem like the worst thing to happen.

While the Nintendo Switch is one of the most beloved consoles of all time, the aging hardware may have a hard time keeping up with the more advanced features of The Quarry, making it more of a chore to play. So, when Nintendo finally brings the successor of the Switch to life, we may have a chance to see more graphically intensive titles, such as this one, brought to it. There are plenty of titles that you can play on the Switch that cannot be played on other systems, so it’s a small sacrifice to pay for excellent first-party support.

The Quarry will be released on June 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
