Starship Troopers - Terran Command is releasing on Steam as a real-time strategy (RTS) game. The developer, The Aristocrats, has not mentioned porting the game to consoles in their interviews.
Starship Troopers - Terran Command will not release on consoles, making this title a Steam exclusive. If you want to enjoy this game, you will need a PC that can run it, since there will not likely be a port anytime soon.
It is very hard to make an RTS work on consoles. Many interviews with Ensemble Studios, the developers of Halo Wars and Age of Empires, prove that. The book Press Reset: Ruin and Recovery in the Video Game Industry showcases how this game (among other things) caused Ensemble Studios to fold and how difficult it was to make the game fun on consoles.
If you would like a similar RTS game that features humans fighting against aliens, then Halo Wars 1 and 2 are available on Xbox Game Pass.
