Resident Evil 4 returns…
Resident Evil 4 has a long and grandeur history inside the gaming sphere with loyal fans rallying and supporting the game to this day. Having the track record of being one of the best horror games in all gaming; there are always those who will bring it up with great reverence in conversations between fellow players. Notably, the experience is being crafted for VR, specifically for the Oculus Quest 2.
The Resident Evil 4 VR version will come with a host of new improvements on top of the timeless classic. You may be wondering if the VR version will be able to play on PC and this article will answer that question along with everything you need to know about the new game version.
Will Resident Evil 4 VR Come to PC?
As mentioned above, Resident Evil 4 will be exclusively for the Oculus Quest 2, in other words, it will unfortunately not be natively available (for the time being) on your PC to prepare. It is unknown if Capcom will seek to create the experience for PC to support other types of VR headsets. The Oculus Quest ‘1’ will also not be compatible with Resident Evil 4 VR which is a shame for those who already have the first generation of the Quest.
However, the hardware of the Oculus Quest 2 has a lot to offer players in terms of the 3D Spatial sound and immersion quality, among other features you can also cast your headset to the TV or your Oculus Quest app if you want others around you to experience the horror with you.
Playing through the classic in VR will be a sight to behold with the locations of Resident Evil 4 being vividly brought to life in an immersive manner like no other. The game includes texture improvements with over 4500 being repainted by the studio, along with room scales altered for the edition, smooth movements for players, and teleportation in VR all being added.
Along with the overhead changes, there are also new interactive physical items taking the form of keys, treasures, and ammo. Weapons holstering will also be on the player character’s body for fast and personal changes to weapon sets. There is something for everyone with this latest Resident Evil experience.
