Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a prequel to the popular Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games. The release of the remasters of these games has fans wondering about the similarities of both the Hisui and Sinnoh regions. Another question is whether Jubilife Village and Jubilife City are related.
The answer is yes—Jubilife Village and Jubilife City are the same. However, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Jubilife Village is a small and quaint place, whereas Jubilife City in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl has grown into a bustling metropolis.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, this location plays a more prominent role in the player’s journey. Although Jubilife City was merely an early stopping point, Jubilife Village is the main hub for the player. They will receive their assignments here and return after completing their tasks to get more. There are also several helpful buildings and NPCs here.
There are other connections between the Hisui region and the Sinnoh region. More of these connections will be revealed as the player progresses through the game, including ancestors of various characters in other Pokémon games!
