In Ghostwire: Tokyo, you will find lots of dogs roaming about the city, and they are, of course, the bestest boys. A couple of hours into the game, you will gain the ability to not only pet them but also feed them. The question is, does it do anything if you give them some grub?

Should You Feed the Dogs in Ghostwire: Tokyo?

As you explore the map, you will find dog food in people’s houses, and it is also available to purchase from the Nekomata at stalls and stores. Needless to say, it is hinted that you should feed the dogs.

Finding the food is one thing, but spending money on it is another. So, is it worth it? It turns out that when you feed the fluffy boys in the game, they go rummaging around after feeding them and scavenge some money for you as a thank you. So, yes it is worth it.

Of course, if you can get the food for free, it is a win-win as you get some Meika (the in-game currency).

You may think it isn’t worth it to buy the food, but you do actually get back more than you spend on the treats. Treats cost 500 meika, and so far we have received between 560 and 910 Meika back from the walking fur balls.

You can see how they feel before and after feeding them by reading their minds, which is seemingly a cool side effect of being possessed by a Japanese cop going after a guy in a Hannya mask!
