With so many legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go, it can be difficult to keep track of them and their strengths. There are a handful of solid choices that are at the top of the charts, such as Melmetal, Groudon, Kyogre, and shadow Mewtwo. These Pokémon thrive in the game’s PvP mode the Master League, and they’re difficult to defeat. Another legendary Pokémon to consider using in the Master League is Incarnate Forme Thundurus. It’s one of the three Forces of Nature legendary Pokémon from the Unova region. We’re not going to say its a Pokémon you can find consistently hitting the top of the charts, but it can be extremely useful in certain situations, especially if you build it with the correct team. Incarnate Forme Thundurus will be appearing from March 11 to the 16 in your local time zone.

Incarnate Forme Thundurus is an Electric and Flying-type Pokémon. It’s weak to Ice and Rock-type moves, but it’s resistant to Bug, Fighting, Flying, Grass, Ground, and Steel-type moves. It has three times as many resistances than it does weaknesses. However, what it is weak against is considered some of the standard meta choices in the Pokémon Go Master League, such as Ice-type champion Mamoswine, Rhyperior, Groudon, or Garchomp.

For PvP, Incarnate Forme Thundurus has a maximum CP of 3,345, an attack of 222, a defense of 141, and a stamina of 160. It has a decent amount of health, but unfortunately, it’s a glass cannon. It’s capable of taking out an opponent pretty fast, but if it’s battling something with a high enough defense, Thunudurus will have a rough time. But that’s for some of the higher up choices in the Master League. When battling against Togekiss, Kyogre, Darkrai, Machamp, Metagross, Lapras, or Gyarados, Incarnate Forme Thundurus will come out on top.

We recommend Incarnate Forme Thundurus if you want a decent choice of a legendary Pokémon in the Master League, but there are better Electric-types. You can consider using Magnezone, Zekrom, Raikou, or even Ampharos.

For PvE, Incarnate Forme Thundurus is also good because of its high capacity to deal damage. You’ll want to use Thundurus’ best moveset to succeed in every battle, which is the fast move thunder shock and the charged moves crunch and thunder.

Overall, we believe Incarnate Forme Thundurus is a good Pokémon. It’s not going to win every single battle you have it in, but if you need a reliable attacker to go into your Master League team, it can work with a few teams. We do not recommend using Thundurus in the Ultra League.
