What is  Highrise in Modern Warfare 2?

Highrise is a multiplayer map introduced in the first Modern Warfare game, Call of Duty Online and Call of Duty: Mobile. Modern Warfare 2. Also,  Highrise is set in New York City, and the map was based on the campaign levels “Second Sun” and “Black Tuesday.” Also, it features close to medium-range combat, with some minor long-range action possible from the crane and the roof of the south building. The map had three teams: the U.S. Army Rangers, Spetsnaz (MW2), and Task Force 141 (CODOL) vs. Shadow Company (CoDo), Special Forces (CODM), and Guerilla Squad (CODM). The map is tiny and can be challenging to play on.

Is Highrise Coming to Modern Warfare 2?

As of now, there is no official word from Activision if they are planning to bring back Highrise in Modern Warfare 2. However, many leaks and rumors suggest that the map might make a return in the game. A recent Twitter post revealed the newest image of Highrise in Modern Warfare 2. However, when we wrote this article, the image had been disabled due to Copyright issues.

EarlyGame reveals that the image includes “The roof, with the helipad between the two skyscrapers,” which shows clearly that the original one inspires the map.

The image might have been revealed too early, and that’s why it was taken down, but this could also be a sign that Activision is planning to bring back Highrise.
