Halo Infinite is set to get a big update with Season 2: Lone Wolves launching. With any big launch, some downtime is to be expected.

Developer 343 Industries had stated that Halo Infinite would be brought down for scheduled maintenance from 1pm to 2pm ET on May 3, 2022. This maintenance will impact online multiplayer and many other features related to the shooter. Once the maintenance is complete, Halo Infinite Season 2 will be made available to players.

Fortunately, the downtime isn’t egregious, and players will be able to get in relatively quickly. For many working the 9-to-5 grind, Halo Infinite’s new season pass will be waiting for them when they get home. For everyone else, an extended lunch break might be in order to pass the time until servers are brought back online.

Season 2 is set to bring two new maps and a slew of new cosmetics by way of the season pass. To give players plenty of time to complete it, and likely for other reasons, Season 2: Lone Wolves is set to run for an unprecedented six months.
